Employer brand management is the internal branding image of an organisation as experienced by its employees. Under this definition, companies who manage to develop an organisational culture which fosters a sense of 'belongingness' & encourages the employees to share the organisation's goals for success, have achieved an excellent employer brand identity.

The goal of employer branding is to create loyal customers; the customers here are your employees.

Elements which contribute to employer branding are:

1. Employment Package: This is the offer your employee receives including job responsibilities, financial compensation, work/life balance, the employee's role within the organisation and professional development.
2. Culture and Environment: This includes the physical working environment, the size of the organisation, and the organisation's approach to work.
3. Information & Communication: Employees want to know that there are open forums in which they can communicate and engage using online and offline platforms.
4. Integrity: Delivering what has been initially committed always counts. The consequence of a lack of integrity is seen in the form of high attrition rates.
